Latest position paper now online: Towards a Harmomised EPB/PEB Methodology in Belgium.
The paper reflects a broad consensus across the construction, real estate and financial sectors and sets out pragmatic quick wins and a realistic roadmap towards greater coherence across the three Regions, in line with the revised EPBD.
The position paper has been shared with the relevant federal and regional administrations to contribute constructively to the ongoing policy discussions on EPBD implementation.
Why it matters
Greater coherence across Regions improves transparency, comparability and investment certainty. A more aligned EPB framework is also a key enabler for a more sustainable, resilient and future-proof building sector — helping steer renovation efforts and capital towards the most effective energy and climate outcomes.
