As BGBC continues to expand its activities and strengthen its role as a neutral platform for sustainable real estate in Belgium, we are looking for a Sustainable Building Expert to join our team on a part-time basis from January 2027.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting BGBC's technical work and member-driven initiatives. Responsibilities include maintaining and developing key BGBC deliverables such as the EU Taxonomy Guidance, the Framework for Climate-Adaptive Buildings, the Green Building Asset Valuation methodology and the Belgian Green Building Barometer. The role also involves supporting task force activities, monitoring regulatory developments and contributing technical expertise to BGBC's communications and advocacy work.
BGBC is open to both freelance candidates and secondment arrangements from member organisations. The position offers a unique opportunity to work across the Belgian real estate value chain and contribute to the practical solutions, tools and recommendations that help accelerate the transition towards a more resilient and future-proof built environment.
